Photographers are saying adios to the outdated CDs and trying to find new ways to “package” their end products. It seems that CDs are going in the same direction that VHS went when DVDs came about, but that victory was short lived for the disc as other data storage devices have been introduced. This blog and forum comments on the switch and others are chiming in! Some are even going as far as eliminating the need for a physical device due to the success of cloud data storage. However, many find cloud data storage to be even more of a hassle due to download speeds. Plus, when a client writes you a big fat check for your photography services, its nice for them to get a physical object in return, right? What do you think?
